Doc’s Harbor Inn is a historic property situated on the south side of the Warroad River that winds its way through the town. After posting on social media about participating in the local A Taste of Warroad event last May, the Warroad High School Culinary class received an invite to participate in the Cook Around the World Competition at Walt Disney World Resort®. Now, members of the Culinary class are preparing to travel and compete against hundreds of students from around the nation and across the world. Every year during the holidays, the property on the corner of Lake Street and 4th Avenue in Warroad is transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Elliot and Teresa Larson have been decorating their home for the Christmas season since they moved here back in 1980. What started as simple icicle lights strung along the roofline, grew into an elaborate display that sprawls over two lots and fills the community with Christmas cheer, year after year.

Marvin, a premium manufacturer of windows and doors, announced its partnership with Northland Community and Technical College (Northland) to bring a new, accredited mechatronics program to Warroad, Minnesota, in January 2022!

Runners and walkers, start your engines – The 18th Annual Yellow Rose 5K/10K Race is just around the corner, with excitement building for the virtual and in-person races! This year’s virtual race will start on Friday, August 6 through Friday, August 13, leading right up to the in-person race in our Warroad and Fargo locations on Saturday, August 14.
